Description

Create an exotic look in your garden with Cordyline australis ‘Corbay Dazzler’. This vibrant variegated cordyline lights up the garden with its cream-edged leaves all through the year, starting as a small plant but forming a trunk over time, eventually growing into a narrow, upright shrub with chunky tufts of foliage at the top. This hardy and resilient shrub tolerates tough conditions including coastal sites, making it a popular choice for seaside gardens. Very undemanding and easy to grow, give this plant a sunny spot in free draining soil and it’ll virtually look after itself. With a narrow footing, it’s perfect for adding height to a planting scheme without taking up too much ground space. Height: 4m (13’). Spread: 1.5m (5’).

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

How to Grow
Grow Cordylines on fertile, well drained soil. Choose a sheltered position in full sun. Cordylines are particularly well suited to mild coastal locations but do enjoy a fertile soil, so it is well worth incorporating some well rotted manure into the soil when planting.

For more information and guidance check out our Gardening Guides.

More Info
Feed and water regularly until fully established. Once established, Cordylines need little attention, but will require some winter protection should temperatures dip below-5C (23F). In cold areas it may be preferable to grow Cordylines in large patio containers that can be moved undercover during the coldest months.
