Deep water ponds are ideal for growing submerged oxygenating plants. These will provide habitat for wildlife and help to keep your pond water clear. Ceratophyllum demersum and Fontinalis antipyretica are both good choices.

Choose aquatic plants that won’t spread too far if you have a small pond. Our free-flowering Water Lily ‘Pygmaea’ Trio is a good choice, delivering red, yellow and white star-shaped flowers from June to September.
