Solidago ‘Cloth of Gold’ is a robust and superbly reliable perennial providing plumes of gold in late summer borders, growing in any well-drained soil and performing even in the driest summers. It forms compact clumps of woody stems clothed with lance-shaped green leaves. From late summer to autumn, it bears abundant upright panicles of tiny golden yellow flowers. These are highly attractive to pollinators – making it an excellent candidate for wildlife gardens. For colour contrast and a real butterfly banquet, pair it with violet Asters and Eupatorium ‘Baby Joe’. Height & Spread: 50cm (20”).
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
