Description
Phlox paniculata 'Fragrant Collection' is a magnificent blend of 4 different colours of this richly fragrant perennial. Throughout summer, large panicles of perfumed flowers rise on upright stems above the bright green foliage. The tall stems are loved by pollinating insects, and make superb cut flowers. Perfect for adding a colour and perfume to the middle of herbaceous borders. Height: 90cm (36"). Spread: 60cm (24").
  • Collection comprises:
  • Phlox paniculata 'White Admiral' is a magnificent perennial producing large panicles of white flowers all summer long. The tall stems make superb cut flowers that will fragrance bouquets with their rich, heady scent. Height: 90cm (36"). Spread: 60cm (24").
  • Phlox paniculata 'Laura' produces fragrant clusters of delicate, purple petals throughout the summer and early autumn. The hardy perennial is also well-suited to flowerbeds and wildlife areas, for bees and butterflies love its nectar almost as much as gardeners appreciate its clump-forming foliage. Height: 90cm (3'). Spread: 90cm (3').
  • Phlox paniculata 'Nicky' is one of the darkest varieties of fragrant Phlox available, and shows good resistance to mildew too. The blooms persist for weeks, attracting pollinating insects to the garden, although it’s well worth cutting a few stems for a vase indoors! This clump forming, hardy perennial makes dramatic addition to cottage garden borders. Plant it in large groups for maximum impact! Height: 90cm (36"). Spread: 60cm (24").
  • Phlox paniculata 'Orange Perfection' produces a blaze of large, salmon-orange flower heads with a rich, sweet perfume throughout summer. With a clump forming habit, Phlox paniculata 'Orange Perfection' is at its best when planted in groups to create a bold splash of colour towards the middle of borders. Like all fragrant Phlox, it is a magnet for pollinating insects and also makes a superb cut flower. A great choice for hot coloured borders! Height: 90cm (36”). Spread: 60cm (24”).
