Description
A superb evergreen shrub with wavy, grey-green foliage edged with a broad cream margin. The small leaves and pale variegation of Pittosporum tenuifolium 'Variegatum' give it a light and airy feel, unlike many evergreens which can appear very dark and dense. Beneath the foliage lies a well-branched structure of contrasting dark grey stems. Tiny red-brown flowers appear in late spring, but these are insignificant, and you will barely spot them.
Bushy and naturally oval in shape, Kohuhu as it is commonly known, makes an elegant specimen plant for sheltered borders. Although naturally tidy, it can even be clipped into a more formal shape if desired. In mild, coastal areas Pittosporum makes a useful salt tolerant shrub and works well when planted as a hedge or windbreak. Height: 4m (13’). Spread: 2m (6’,5").

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
