Description

More commonly found in mountain meadows in the Alps than in British gardens, Phyteuma scheuchzeri is a striking and quirky alpine boasting distinctive horned flowerheads in vivid purple-blue. The unusual flowerheads are borne on upright stems above a basal clump of narrow, pointed semi-evergreen foliage. Loved by bees, horned rampion is great for wildlife gardens and the front of borders; or grow in a rockery or container to allow close inspection of its fascinating blooms! Height: 35cm (14in). Spread: 30cm (12in).

How to Grow
