Description

This magnificent hardy perennial makes a fabulous addition to moist borders, bog gardens or pondside planting. Tall spires of three-lipped, tubular flowers in vivid purple-blue rise above dark green, purple-tinged foliage from midsummer to early autumn. Tough, reliable and low-maintenance, Lobelia speciosa ‘Fan Blue’ adapts well to permanently boggy ground, though does equally well in average conditions so long as the soil remains moist. The blooms are attractive to butterflies and makes a great cut flower. Height: 60cm (24"). Spread: 30cm (12").

Please note: All parts are toxic. The milky sap can irritate skin.

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
