Description

Phlox ‘Orange Perfection’ offers something unique to the garden colour palette. It’s easy to get stuck in a rut with flower colours, with most flowers falling into the magenta/pink spectrum. Oranges and specifically corals are harder to find, especially as bold blocks of colour. ‘Orange Perfection is an exceptional phlox cultivar with large clusters of orange-salmon flowers with a deeper eye. Their striking colour gives a real lift to borders in July and September, combining with Heleniums, Crocosmias and Echinacea to create a showy display. The flowers are lightly scented and are valued by florists for their unusual colour, making fabulous vase specimens and bouquets. Their sweet fragrance also attracts plenty of insects making this cottage garden favourite a treat for wildlife too. Height: 90cm (36in). Spread: 60cm (24in).

How to Grow
Grow phlox plants in any fertile, moist, well drained soil in full sun or semi-shade. Incorporate plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost into the soil prior to planting.
More Info
Feed and water regularly, particularly during dry periods, until young phlox plants are fully established. After flowering, lightly shear the stems to encourage lots of fresh new growth.
