Description
A slender exclamation mark that punctuates the landscape with its tall, upright habit. Over time, Juniperus communis 'Hibernica' forms a column of evergreen, needle-like foliage. This well known Irish Juniper holds an RHS AGM for its garden performance, adding year-round colour, texture and a strong vertical accent to planting schemes. A particularly useful evergreen specimen for smaller gardens as it will remain narrowly compact over many years. Height: 4m (13'). Spread: 50cm (20").

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

How to Grow
Plant Junipers in a sunny or lightly shaded position, in any well drained soil; juniper trees tolerate dry, chalky or sandy soils. Incorporate plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost to improve the soil prior to planting, mixing it thoroughly and deeply.
More Info
Water Juniper plants regularly throughout the growing season until fully established. Juniper does not require any pruning. Caution: irritant to skin and eyes.

Thompson & Morgan strives to ensure that all its plants are delivered to you in the perfect condition for planting. While the majority of our nursery plants cope well with slight delays in intransit, sadly, the time it takes to deliver to certain locations in the UK means that we can't guarantee this for some of our smaller plug products and tender bedding and vegetable lines, which do not respond well to the extra journey time. So regretfully while we offer the majority of our live plant offering nationwide, we are unable to ship plugs, begging plants and tender vegetable plants to the following areas: HS, IV41-IV49, IV51, IV55-56, KW15-KW17, PA34, PA41-48, PA60-PA78, PA80, PH40-PH44, TR21-TR24, ZE1-ZE3
