With a lovely dwarf habit, Juniperus communis 'Compressa' is perfect for punctuating rockeries with evergreen structure. A Common Juniper with a compact, vertical habit and blue-green, aromatic foliage which is less prone to scorching than many conifers. Due to its slow growth rate, it remains compact for many years, needing virtually no maintenance whatsoever. Height: 80cm (32"). Spread: 45cm (18").

Plant Junipers in a sunny or lightly shaded position, in any well drained soil; juniper trees tolerate dry, chalky or sandy soils. Incorporate plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost to improve the soil prior to planting, mixing it thoroughly and deeply.
