Description
How to Grow
Delospermum congestum ‘Yellow’ is a spreading, mat-forming succulent that is ideal for rockeries and gravel gardens, containers, tumbling over walls, and ground cover in dry sites. Yellow Ice Plant becomes studded with masses of bright yellow daisy-like flowers in summer, whilst the small, densely packed fleshy leaves flush red in the winter for additional interest. Hailing from South Africa, this drought-tolerant, heat-tolerant hardy succulent is easy to grow and needs virtually no maintenance, thriving in even the poorest soils providing it has excellent drainage and receives full sun. Height: 5cm (2in). Spread: 60cm (24in).

Plant Delosperma in very free-draining soil in full sun. Do not allow the roots to sit wet, especially in winter, as this will cause rot.
