Description

Enjoy splashes of late season colour around the garden with beautiful and vibrant Aster x frikartii 'Mönch’, also known as Michaelmas Daisy. Blooming from late summer into autumn, if you’re looking to extend the season of interest this is a fantastic choice. Not only do they provide late-season colour, but they’re a magnet for bees, butterflies and other pollinators too - ideal if you’re creating a wildlife garden or love the idyllic cottage-garden style. This tall variety forms a bushy habit of strong, upright stems, each topped with a profusion of wonderful, long-lasting bright purple daisy-like flowers. Unfussy and easy to grow in sun or partial shade, they can be enjoyed all around the garden. Plant them in beds and borders and they’ll create generous blocks of colour which make an eye-catching feature. Height: 90cm (35”). Spread: 45cm (18”).

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
