Description
How to Grow
Distinctive from other varieties of rock cress which have plain green leaves, Arabis ferdinandi-coburgi 'Old Gold' has striking variegated foliage which provides attractive, evergreen groundcover. Forming neat, mat-forming rosettes of dark green leaves with yellow margins, it works beautifully with violet aubretias and late-flowering tulips. In April and May it produces airy sprays of sweetly-scented, white flowers on wiry stems. Arabis ‘Old Gold’ thrives in full sun in dry, poor soil and is ideal for ground cover, walls, rockeries, edging and containers. Height: 10cm (4”). Spread:20cm (8”).

Arabis is a very tolerant plant, and will grow in dry, sunny conditions, and the poorest of soils.
More Info Deadhead and trim back plants after flowering to keep them neat and tidy.
