Description
Here's a plant that will stand out from the crowd in your garden - the first ever deciduous bicolour Agapanthus. This African lily is robust, and truly hardy in the UK meaning it's perfect in the garden border as well as in a patio container. The flowers of Agapanthus 'Twister' are absolutely glorious, with crystal white flutes turning inky blue at the base. The huge globes of colour appear from mid to late summer, hosted on strong, sturdy stems that need no staking. Height: 60cm (24"). Spread: 50cm (20").

Why not add a patio pot to your order? - perfect for planting up your Agapanthus plants!

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

How to Grow
Grow Agapanthus plants in rich fertile, well drained soil, in a sunny position. When growing Agapanthus in patio containers use a soil based compost, such as John Innes No.3 .
More Info
Feed and water African Lilies regularly throughout the growing season. Leave faded Agapanthus flower stems intact to enjoy their architectural seed heads during autumn. When the first frost blacken the seed heads, cut the stems back to ground level. Protect plants outdoors from severe winter weather by providing a dry mulch of bark chips or straw in late autumn. Container grown plants can be moved to a frost free position over winter. Divide agapanthus clumps in spring when they become over crowded.
