Description

Captivating rosebud blooms open to reveal large clusters of fully double flowers on vigorous, trailing plants. Geranium 'Rosebud Collection' includes 5 varieties - 'Polly', 'Sybil Pink', 'Tommy', 'Sybil Blue' and 'White Pearl'. These varieties have been specially selected because the blooms never open fully, but remain in a truly elegant rosebud formation. Their long flowering period and drought tolerance make these trailing Pelargoniums ideal for creating an enchanting display in window boxes, patio containers and hanging baskets that will last well into autumn. Trails to: 45cm (18"). Spread: 30cm (12").

Although technically perennial, Pelargoniums are only half hardy and therefore normally treated as annuals in the UK. However, with care, they may be overwintered in a frost free greenhouse.

How to Grow
Pot up pelargonium plants and grow them on in warm frost-free conditions. When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise geraniums to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days before transplanting them into their final positions in containers, baskets and window boxes. Plant geraniums in a sunny or semi-shaded position, in any light, non-acidic, well drained soil. Pinch out the growing tip of each stem to encourage branching and form a bushier plant which will produce more flowers later on.
More Info
Feed and water geranium plants regularly, particularly during hot, dry periods. Regular deadheading of geranium flowers will encourage further blooms to be produced throughout the summer.

Thompson & Morgan strives to ensure that all its plants are delivered to you in the perfect condition for planting. While the majority of our nursery plants cope well with slight delays in intransit, sadly, the time it takes to deliver to certain locations in the UK means that we can't guarantee this for some of our smaller plug products and tender bedding and vegetable lines, which do not respond well to the extra journey time. So regretfully while we offer the majority of our live plant offering nationwide, we are unable to ship plugs, begging plants and tender vegetable plants to the following areas: HS, IV41-IV49, IV51, IV55-56, KW15-KW17, PA34, PA41-48, PA60-PA78, PA80, PH40-PH44, TR21-TR24, ZE1-ZE3
