Vinca minor f. alba is an evergreen shrub with long, prostrate shoots bearing neat, ovate leaves and single white flowers from spring to early autumn. It is used primarily as a groundcover plant and is less invasive of those of the Vinca major series. It also acts as a great weed suppressant. Height: 50cm (20"). Spread: 60cm (24").

Plant out Vinca minor into any moist, well drained soil. Periwinkle is a particularly tough plant and will thrive in any garden position, provided that the soil isn't dry.
More Info Feed and water Vinca plants regularly throughout the growing season while young plants become established. Once established, Vinca require only occasional attention. Pruning Periwinkle is best undertaken in spring when they can be cut back hard to restrict their growth.
