Description

The young growth of Taxus baccata ‘Jalako Sunrise’ emerges bright yellow-green providing a glowing evergreen backdrop to the garden landscape. The colour is especially intense in spring, but unlike other varieties, it remains a striking yellow-gold all year round.

Taxus baccata ‘Jalako Sunrise’ is a compact, slow-growing variety with a rounded habit. It is perfect for forming an evergreen backdrop in small gardens, terraces or balconies, suiting container growing or planting in the open border. It makes an attractive addition to rockeries and the front of borders and is great for framing architectural features such as doorways. It can also be used as a low hedge. Requires only minimal pruning as a young plant. Height: 1m (39in). Spread: 80cm (31in).

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

Thompson & Morgan strives to ensure that all its plants are delivered to you in the perfect condition for planting. While the majority of our nursery plants cope well with slight delays in intransit, sadly, the time it takes to deliver to certain locations in the UK means that we can't guarantee this for some of our smaller plug products and tender bedding and vegetable lines, which do not respond well to the extra journey time. So regretfully while we offer the majority of our live plant offering nationwide, we are unable to ship plugs, begging plants and tender vegetable plants to the following areas: HS, IV41-IV49, IV51, IV55-56, KW15-KW17, PA34, PA41-48, PA60-PA78, PA80, PH40-PH44, TR21-TR24, ZE1-ZE3
