Syringa meyeri ‘Palibin White’ is a slow-growing, dwarf lilac that makes an excellent choice where space is limited. Fine branches are clothed in small, oval leaves, quite different to the large, heart-shaped leaves of common lilacs, lending the whole shrub a daintier appearance. In May and June, Syringa meyeri ‘Palabin White’ is smothered in a canopy of intensely fragrant white flowers. The slender flowers are held in loose panicles, creating a light and airy impression. Despite its dainty habit, this is a robust and hardy shrub which makes a fine pot specimen but is equally suited to planting in mixed borders. Height and spread: 1.5m (5ft).
