Description
With their spicy, clove-like scent, and tall sturdy stems, these stocks make fantastic cut flowers that bring fragrance and colour to your home. The closely packed flower spikes of this tall, clove scented mix emerge in a blend of at least 6 lovely pastel shades. This customer favourite mingles beautifully in cottage garden borders, or planted in large drifts and containers. Height: 60cm (24"). Spread: 40cm (16").

Garden Ready Plants - Our garden ready plants are selected for garden performance, straight from the nursery. We send them to you 'green' ahead of flowering (but please note some varieties may show a few blooms), which means plants will establish quickly and all their energy goes into producing better roots, so they produce more flowers throughout the season.

Culinary note: Flowers are usually added raw to salads or as a garnish to desserts, they can also be candied. Their flavour is perfumed. For more details about edible flowers click here.

How to Grow
Pot up stock plug plants and grow them on in frost free conditions, for transplanting into borders, beds and containers later on. When all risk of frost has passed and plants are well grown, acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days. Plant stocks outdoors in a sheltered position in any well drained soil in full sun.
More Info
Feed and water plants regularly. Deadhead faded stock flowers to encourage more clove-scented blooms to be produced. Support the tall flower stems with twiggy brushwood or garden canes.

For more information on how we send your plants please visit our Helpful Guide on plant sizes.

Thompson & Morgan strives to ensure that all its plants are delivered to you in the perfect condition for planting. While the majority of our nursery plants cope well with slight delays in intransit, sadly, the time it takes to deliver to certain locations in the UK means that we can't guarantee this for some of our smaller plug products and tender bedding and vegetable lines, which do not respond well to the extra journey time. So regretfully while we offer the majority of our live plant offering nationwide, we are unable to ship plugs, begging plants and tender vegetable plants to the following areas: HS, IV41-IV49, IV51, IV55-56, KW15-KW17, PA34, PA41-48, PA60-PA78, PA80, PH40-PH44, TR21-TR24, ZE1-ZE3
