Description
From late spring, the arching stems of this semi-evergreen shrub are filled with delicate white blooms. The cup-shaped flowers attract pollinating insects making this a useful choice for a wildlife garden. Spiraea thunbergii has a spreading habit that makes good ground cover in mixed borders. This reliable shrub is easy to grow and holds an RHS AGM for its excellent garden performance. Height: 1.5m (5'). Spread: 2m (6',5")

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

How to Grow
Grow Spiraea in a sunny position, in any fertile, moist, well-drained soil.
More Info
For best performance, prune Spiraea japonica cultivars in early spring, before the new leaves develop. Reduce all growth back by about a third to a permanent framework.
