Description

Potentilla atrosanguinea var. argyrophylla 'Scarlet Starlit' is a compact variety bearing branching stems of deep red flowers all summer. The vivid saucer-shaped blooms are offset by a neat clump of three-lobed, silver-haired dark green leaves very similar to those of a strawberry. Perfect for the front of the border, wildlife gardens and rockeries, this dwarf cinquefoil is very easy to grow and requires virtually no maintenance: simply cut flower stems back to the ground once blooming has finished. Height and spread: 30cm (12in).
