A classic creeping Phlox, perfect for edging pathways, growing in rockeries or gravel gardens as well as filling spaces at the front of a border. Phlox subulata 'Red Wings' lights up the garden from late spring onwards every year with a profusion of fragrant, bright mauve-pink blooms, forming a colourful and scented cushion of colour. Over the years this variety forms an established, evergreen mat which acts as an effective year-round weed suppressant. These low maintenance perennial plants are happy in a sunny spot with free draining soil. Height: 15cm (6"). Spread: 50cm (20").
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
