This popular garden hedging staple has been given a new lease of life with the Lonicera ‘Garden Clouds’ series, providing an excellent, disease-free alternative to box hedges and topiary.
Lonicera ‘Garden Clouds Copper Glow’ has fine green foliage, with new leaves emerging copper coloured. Unlike ordinary Lonicera nitidia, Lonicera ‘Garden Clouds Copper Glow’ naturally forms bushy ball shapes, making it a superb for topiary and low hedging. These evergreen shrubs are disease-free, will grow in sun or shade and tolerate all soil types providing they are well-drained. They happily cope with regular clipping into architectural shapes such as globes and cones. Height in 3 years: 90cm (3ft). Spread: 60cm (2ft). Regular clipping will keep plants small.
