How to Grow
Pot up Statice plants using free-draining compost, and grow them on in frost free conditions until large enough to plant outside. Once they are well grown, acclimatise Limonium plants to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days before planting outdoors on light, sandy, well drained soil in full sun. Improve heavy soil conditions by adding coarse grit or sharp sand prior to planting.
More Info
Feed and water regularly until Statice plants are fully established. To use as a dried flower, cut the stems when the foliage is dry and the flowers are well coloured. Tie Statice flowers in small bunches and hang them upside down in a dry, well ventilated place until completely dry.
