Description
Starry blooms in variable shades make Aquilegia ‘Dragonfly’ one of the prettiest mixes you’ll find. Bicolour, pastel flowers perch upon slender, upright stems to create a carefree, late spring display. This reliable hardy perennial produces an airy clump of finely-cut foliage. Perfect for dotting through the front of borders. Like all Aquilegia, they will seed about freely, filling gaps in borders from year to year, but never making a nuisance of themselves. Height: 60cm (24"). Spread: 45cm (18").

How to Grow
Grow aquilegias in a sun or part shade in fertile, moist, well drained soil.
More Info
Columbines hybridize readily, be aware that any self-sown seedlings may not come true to type. If seedlings are not wanted, deadhead faded aquilegia flowers to prevent them self seeding. Aquilegias dislike disturbance but overcrowded clumps may be lifted and divided in spring when necessary.
