Description
This slow growing, dwarf conifer is perfectly proportioned for the rockery. With a compact, spreading habit, Juniperus squamata 'Blue Star' creates attractive evergreen groundcover without getting out of hand. This RHS AGM variety of Flaky Juniper boasts aromatic, silver-blue, needle-like foliage that ultimately forms an attractive textural mound. Like all Junipers, this hardy shrub is low manitennance and easy to grow in a wide range of garden conditions. Height: 40cm (16"). Spread: 100cm (39").

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

How to Grow
Plant Junipers in a sunny or lightly shaded position, in any well drained soil; juniper trees tolerate dry, chalky or sandy soils. Incorporate plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost to improve the soil prior to planting, mixing it thoroughly and deeply.
More Info
Water Juniper plants regularly throughout the growing season until fully established. Juniper does not require any pruning. Caution: irritant to skin and eyes.
