Description

A compact Gaura bearing masses of delicate white flowers edged with pink and adorned with long white stamens. The starry flowers flutter on wand-like panicles and associate beautifully with ornamental grasses and other drought-tolerant perennials. Upright to arching stems bear lance-shaped green leaves that are flushed burgundy when young.

Older varieties of Gaura tend to sprawl untidily, crowding out adjacent plants but Gaura 'Gambit Rose Bicolour' forms a nice, bushy clump. At only around knee height, it is perfect for the front or middle of the border and works equally well in a container. Drought tolerant once established, Gaura 'Gambit Rose Bicolour' boasts an exceptionally long flowering season, blooming for months from June to September. Use it in a sunny border, gravel garden, rock garden or patio container where it will create texture, movement and colour and attract the constant buzz of pollinating insects. Height: 50cm (20in). Spread: 40cm (16in).

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
