Description
The muted apricot tones of this pretty variety allow it to blend effortlessly with almost any colour scheme. Foxglove purpurea 'Sutton's Apricot' bears its tall flower spikes in early summer above rosettes of coarse green foliage. Like all Digitalis, this upright perennial thrives in light shade, making it particularly useful for planting among deciduous trees. Although a relatively short-lived perennial, Digitalis will happily seed about your borders, increasing its numbers year upon year. Height: 120cm (48"). Spread: 60cm (24").

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

How to Grow
Although foxgloves prefer a fertile, moist soil, they will happily tolerate almost any soil except those that are excessively dry or waterlogged.
More Info
Water foxglove plants regularly until fully established. Foxgloves self-seed freely. If seedlings are not wanted, deadhead stems of foxglove flowers as the blooms fade. In autumn, cut back old stems to encourage plenty of new side shoots.
