Water foxglove plants regularly until fully established. Foxgloves will grow in most soils although they prefer acidic soils in part shade. These biennials will produce a low leaf rosette in their first year and flower the following summer. Sowing them two years in succession and allowing plants to self-seed will ensure a continuous display.
