Description

This lovely little Euphorbia forms neat domes of narrow green leaves which produce terminal clusters of bright, sulphur-yellow flower bracts in mid to late spring. Although small, it makes a big impact in the spring garden, associating beautifully with spring bulbs such as tulips and scillas. The fading flower bracts still provide enough colour to provide vivid contrast when purple alliums emerge. In autumn, the foliage takes on reddish tones. Euphorbia polychroma thrives in full sun in freely draining soil, making pleasing cushions of foliage along border edges, in rock gardens and Mediterranean plantings. Winner of an RHS award, this is an easy, low maintenance plant, unbothered by pests and diseases. Height: 25cm (10”). Spread: 45cm (18”).

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
