Description
Echinacea ‘Sunseekers Salmon’ comes from a recently introduced series that really stand out from the crowd. Compact, well branched plants produce masses of stunning coneflowers throughout the summer. The blooms change colour as they mature, opening from creamy-yellow buds, becoming rich pink, and finally fading to a pretty blush pink. Each plant, boasts flowers at different stages, creating a beautiful tapestry of colour when planted in bold groups. Perfect for sunny borders, cut flower gardens and wildlife areas where they will attract beneficial pollinating insects. Height: 60cm (24"). Spread: 45cm (18").

How to Grow
Pot up echinacea plants and grow them on in frost free conditions until large enough to transplant outdoors. Gradually acclimatise plants to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days prior to planting out in borders. Grow echinacea plants in a sunny or semi shaded position on moist, well drained soil. Coneflowers prefer a deep, fertile soil and will benefit from the addition of some well rotted manure or garden compost to soil, prior to planting.
More Info
Feed and water regularly throughout the growing season until coneflower plants are fully established. Deadhead faded Echinacea flowers to encourage more blooms to be produced. In autumn, cut back faded flower stems and apply a mulch of well rotted manure to the base of the plant. Divide overcrowded plants in autumn or spring.

Thompson & Morgan strives to ensure that all its plants are delivered to you in the perfect condition for planting. While the majority of our nursery plants cope well with slight delays in intransit, sadly, the time it takes to deliver to certain locations in the UK means that we can't guarantee this for some of our smaller plug products and tender bedding and vegetable lines, which do not respond well to the extra journey time. So regretfully while we offer the majority of our live plant offering nationwide, we are unable to ship plugs, begging plants and tender vegetable plants to the following areas: HS, IV41-IV49, IV51, IV55-56, KW15-KW17, PA34, PA41-48, PA60-PA78, PA80, PH40-PH44, TR21-TR24, ZE1-ZE3
