Description
How Do Carrot Root Fly Nematodes Protect My Crops? Carrot root fly nematodes target the larvae and eggs of the carrot root fly, providing robust defence against this persistent pest. By disrupting the fly's life cycle, they prevent extensive damage caused by the larvae feeding on carrot roots. When Is the Best Time to Apply Carrot Root Fly Nematodes? Apply carrot root fly nematodes during the carrot root fly's active periods: from April to June and again from August to October. Ensure the soil temperature is at least 10 degrees Celsius for effective application. How Do I Store and Apply Carrot Root Fly Nematodes? Store the nematodes in the fridge or below 5 degrees Celsius immediately after delivery and use them before the expiry date on the package. When applying, water them into the soil within 30 minutes to wash them off the leaves and back into the soil. Keep the soil moist for optimal results.

Delivery

Delivery for items fulfilled and sold by Marketplace vendors is free of charge.

Thompson & Morgan strives to ensure that all its plants are delivered to you in the perfect condition for planting. While the majority of our nursery plants cope well with slight delays in intransit, sadly, the time it takes to deliver to certain locations in the UK means that we can't guarantee this for some of our smaller plug products and tender bedding and vegetable lines, which do not respond well to the extra journey time. So regretfully while we offer the majority of our live plant offering nationwide, we are unable to ship plugs, begging plants and tender vegetable plants to the following areas: HS, IV41-IV49, IV51, IV55-56, KW15-KW17, PA34, PA41-48, PA60-PA78, PA80, PH40-PH44, TR21-TR24, ZE1-ZE3
