From July right through to autumn, this impressive Korean Mint sends up elegant purple flower spikes with a sweet liquorice scent. A superb hardy perennial for borders, where it blends effortlessly into cottage garden planting schemes. Agastache rugosa is also perfect for sensory gardens and wildlife areas, with bees finding its nectar-rich flowers irresistible. Height: 80cm (31"). Spread: 45cm (18").

Culinary note: Add both flowers and leaves to cakes or whipping cream for a hint of anise flavour. For more details about edible flowers click here.
