Description
Agapanthus 'Seastorm' creates an explosion of summer colour from June to August. Rounded heads of starry, violet-purple flowers are balanced atop stiff, upright stems which make superb cut flowers. This eye-catching African Lily is free flowering, boasting more stems per plant than traditional varieties. Strap-like, semi-evergreen foliage provides effective summer ground cover, even in dry, drought-prone soils. A lovely choice for planting en masse throughout beds and borders, or filling patio pots with summer colour. Height: 76cm (30"). Spread: 60cm (24").

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

How to Grow
Grow Agapanthus plants in rich fertile, well drained soil, in a sunny position. When growing Agapanthus in patio containers use a soil based compost, such as John Innes No.3 .
More Info
Feed and water African Lilies regularly throughout the growing season. Leave faded Agapanthus flower stems intact to enjoy their architectural seed heads during autumn. When the first frost blacken the seed heads, cut the stems back to ground level. Protect plants outdoors from severe winter weather by providing a dry mulch of bark chips or straw in late autumn. Container grown plants can be moved to a frost free position over winter. Divide agapanthus clumps in spring when they become over crowded.
