Description

If you love lilacs but lack space, this petite beauty is the perfect answer. Syringa ‘Little Lady’ retains its compact form throughout its life, reaching only a maximum of 4 or 5 foot. In late spring and early summer, panicles of dark pink buds open to lilac-pink flowers with a heady fragrance. Syringa ‘Little Lady’ is great for structural planting or as an informal hedge that doesn’t need constant trimming. An old favourite in cottage garden borders that is tough and trouble-free. Height and spread: 1.2m-1.5m (4-5ft).

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

How to Grow
Grow lilac plants in rich fertile, well drained, neutral or alkaline soil in full sun. Young Lilacs will benefit from a sheltered position.
More Info
Feed and water regularly throughout the growing season while young plants become established. Prune lilac bushes in winter or spring by removing any damaged, diseased or misplaced stems before lightly shaping the remaining stems. After pruning, apply a mulch of well rotted manure or garden compost to the base of the shrub.
