Description
Staphylea colchica is an uprigth, deciduous shrub with panicles of fragrant, bell-shaped white flowers in Spring, changing to bladder-like greenish-white fruit – hence its common name 'Ivory-flowered Bladdernut'. Thick stems bear pinnate, glossy green leaves and thrives in almost all soil types. Height & Spread: 3.5m (11').

How to Grow
Grow Staphylea in sun or part shade, in any fertile, moist, well-drained soil.
More Info
Generally pest and disease free, Staphylea requires very little attention apart from a careful prune after flowering.
