What Are Slug Nematodes Used For?
Slug Nematodes offer a natural and efficient solution for controlling slugs in your garden. These minuscule, transparent worms inhabit slugs, consuming them from within and reproducing, ultimately leading to a reduction in slug populations. They are harmless to children, pets, and wildlife and naturally occur in soil, with their population bolstered through simple application.
How Do I Apply Slug Nematodes?
To apply Slug Nematodes effectively, choose early morning or late evening to minimize exposure to sunlight and heat.
For best results:
Ensure the soil is adequately moist during application and maintain this moisture level for 3-4 weeks afterward.
Apply the entire solution immediately after mixing; avoid storing it for more than 4 hours.
Utilize a watering can with a coarse rosehead and keep the nematode solution agitated continuously.
For drench applications over foliage, water the area within 30 minutes to wash the nematodes into the soil.
Instructions:
Use the nematodes promptly upon receipt.
If storage is necessary, maintain a temperature of 4 to 8 degrees Celsius for a short duration.
Use the entire packet at once, as nematodes expire approximately 2 weeks after receipt.
Avoid freezing Slug Nematodes.

Thompson & Morgan strives to ensure that all its plants are delivered to you in the perfect condition for planting. While the majority of our nursery plants cope well with slight delays in intransit, sadly, the time it takes to deliver to certain locations in the UK means that we can't guarantee this for some of our smaller plug products and tender bedding and vegetable lines, which do not respond well to the extra journey time. So regretfully while we offer the majority of our live plant offering nationwide, we are unable to ship plugs, begging plants and tender vegetable plants to the following areas: HS, IV41-IV49, IV51, IV55-56, KW15-KW17, PA34, PA41-48, PA60-PA78, PA80, PH40-PH44, TR21-TR24, ZE1-ZE3
