Description
Even if you forget its lengthy name, you’ll certainly remember its impressive summer display! Starry, golden blooms which age to dark orange, are borne against a backdrop of variegated foliage. The fleshy leaves of this Stonecrop are grey-green, edged with a creamy-yellow margin, remaining semi-evergreen throughout the year. Sedum kamtschaticum var. floriferum 'Variegatum' is a low, spreading perennial that makes fabulous ground cover in rockeries and gravel gardens, or spilling from raised beds and troughs. A low maintenance hardy perennial with a long season of interest. Height: 10cm (4”). Spread: 40cm (16”).

How to Grow
Grow sedum in a sunny position in fertile, well drained, non acidic soil that has been enriched with well rotted manure or garden compost.
More Info
When growing sedum, water regularly during particularly hot dry periods until the plants are fully established. Cut back the old stems and foliage of spreading stonecrop plants after flowering to maintain their shape. Sedum is drought tolerant once fully established. Caution: All parts are harmful if eaten.
