Description
Blooming in a gorgeous shade of pale creamy-yellow, Scabious columbaria subsp. ochroleuca can be used to create the perfect contrast alongside classic mauve Scabious or grown as an alternative. A popular choice for any cottage or wildlife garden, this pale-coloured Scabious is profuse with pretty pincushion blooms all summer long which are a rich source of nectar, loved by bees and butterflies. Height: 80cm (31”). Spread: 45cm (18”).

How to Grow
Grow Scabious plants in a sunny position on fertile, well drained, neutral to alkaline soil that is not excessively wet in winter.
More Info
Water scabious plants until they are fully established. Deadhead faded scabious flowers to encourage more blooms to be produced. Lift and divide overcrowded clumps in spring.
