Description

Salvia flava var. megalantha is an unusual salvia boasting striking bicolored flowers in buttery yellow with a deep purple lip. This hardy perennial blooms over a long period from early summer to late autumn and is highly attractive to bees. Salvia flava var. megalantha is ideal for the herbaceous border, where it will form a compact clump of dark green, aromatic foliage above which the flowers appear on tall spikes, adding vertical accents to a planting scheme. Height and spread: 60cm (24in).
