Bare root perennial

Plants may show little or no sign of top growth. They have been sent in a dormant state which keeps them in the best possible condition, and they will produce new growth in the spring. Can be planted straight out into the garden, as long as the soil is not frozen or waterlogged.

Description
Create the perfect look in your garden with our duo of Floribunda roses. Ideal to compliment or contrast with specific areas or plants in your garden or simply use them to provide colour and fragrance in beds, borders or mixed plantings.

Your collection will include:
Rose 'Blue Eyes' - This astonishing repeat-flowering Floribunda rose is a breeding breakthrough, and highly sought after for its unusual colouring. The abundant clusters of wide, delicate-pink blooms are each decorated with an exquisite mauve-blue centre blotch and a beautiful, sweet fragrance. Rose 'Blue Eyes' has good disease resistance and a short bushy habit that makes it ideal for planting in containers or borders for a head-turning display. Height: 120cm (47"). Spread: 90cm (35").

Rose 'For Your Eyes Only' - Grow the Rose of the Year 2015, an early flowering variety, with a subtle scent and dusky pink-orange, centre-spotted blooms. Continually flowering right through summer and into autumn, it's unique open flowers with central blotching are set to change the face of modern roses. A short height and compact growth habit makes 'For Your Eyes Only' the perfect ground cover and container rose. Height: 90cm (35"). Spread: 90cm (35").

Culinary note: Some parts of these flowers are edible. Rosehips and petals can be used in making syrups and the petals will add flavour to cold drinks or fruit dishes. For more details about edible flowers click here.

Companion planting: Try growing roses with garlic, chives, thyme or mint to help deter aphids and blackfly.

How to Grow
Plant bareroot roses at the earliest opportunity following delivery. To avoid the risk from the build-up of harmful soil organisms and disease, choose an open position in full sun that has not been planted with roses in recent years. Roses enjoy a rich, fertile, well drained soil. Dig in plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost to the soil prior to planting roses and add a small handful of granular fertiliser to the planting hole.
More Info
Feed and water rose plants regularly and deadhead faded flowers. When growing roses it is necessary to remove any suckers that arise from the base of the plant, below the graft union. In winter, begin pruning floribunda roses by removing dead and diseased wood, and any rubbing or damaged branches. Then reduce the stems to 20cm (10") above ground level. Side shoots should be reduced to two buds. Apply a mulch of well rotted manure or compost to the base of the plant after pruning.
