Pro-Kleen's Garden Lime Soil Condition Granules are an excellent solution for neutralising soil and raising pH levels. Most garden plants thrive best in soil with a pH between 6 and 7. If you test your soil and the pH level is less than 6, it is too acidic for most garden plants to grow. Our Garden Lime Soil Conditioner Granules help to raise soil pH levels, allowing your garden plants, flowers and vegetables to grow as robust and healthy as possible!

Prevents Club Roots

Club root is a fungal infection that can affect plants, especially between mid-summer and late autumn when the soil is moist and warm. Plants with club roots are generally stunted and wilt quickly, making them weak and shortening their lifespan. By adding Pro-Kleen's Lime Soil Conditioner to your soil, you can prevent club roots from growing in plants like Brussels sprouts, cabbage, cauliflower, turnip, and swede, among others.

How To Spot Club Roots

If you’re worried your plants could have club root, here are some things to look for. The plant above ground will have stunted growth, and purple foliage and will often wilt in hot weather. The plant root itself will look swollen and distorted. Add Pro-Kleen’s Lime Soil Conditioner to your soil to help your plants grow stronger and prevent club roots. Please note: extreme cases of club root may not be able to be saved by lime soil.

For plants that thrive in a neutral pH level soil such as flowers, fruit, trees, shrubs, vegetables and more, this is the perfect product to add to your soil if it’s too acidic. This will help to neutralise the soil to make sure the pH level isn’t too low – allowing your plants, flowers and vegetables to thrive and grow strong!

How To Use

We recommend testing the pH of your soil before use. If your soil reads below 6pH, add Pro-Kleen’s Garden Lime Soil Conditioner Granules using the application rates below.

Application Rates: Initially, apply 50m2 at 8–12-week intervals until the desired pH level has been reached. Check the pH level of your soil before every application. Once the desired pH level has been reached, check the soil pH annually and re-apply as necessary. This bag treats up to 400m2 when applied at 50g/m2.
Application Period: This product can be used from February through to November.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry, frost-free place out of the reach of children and pets
WARNING: Do not breathe dust. Wear gloves and a mask during application. Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product. Do not apply around ericaceous (lime-hating plants) plants and vegetables. Do not use if using manure at the same time.
