Description
Bred by T&M's flower breeders, this stunning mixture follows in the footsteps of the customer favourite Coral Reef, just one of the many colours included in this gorgeous mixture. The enchanting large 12cm (5 inch) silky, ruffled blooms are weather resistant, will not flop and stand above strong, dark green clumps of foliage. Fruit Punch comes in a range of captivating shades including vibrant reds, hot pinks, bright oranges and the often elusive plum shades normally only found in Patty's Plum, with each bloom hosting a distinctive deep black centre. This long lasting perennial will look a knockout in borders or as a cut flower. Height: 60-75cm (24-30in).

Sowing
Sow 6-8 weeks before the last frost date at 15C (60F) on the surface of good free draining, damp seed compost. Do not cover seed. Place in a propagator or seal container inside a polythene bag until after germination which usually takes 10-21 days. Do not exclude light as this helps germination.

When large enough to handle, transplant seedlings into 7.5cm (3in) pots. Gradually acclimatise plants to outdoor conditions and then plant out 30cm (12in) apart.

More Info
Deadhead faded poppy flowers to encourage more blooms to be produced. Cut back old foliage to ground level in autumn. Lift and divide overcrowded clumps of Oriental poppy in spring.
