Description

These sizzling pansies create welcome spots of sunshine orange during chilly winter and spring days. Pansy ‘Frizzle Sizzle Orange’ is detailed with black streaks and sports dainty ruffled petals. Plant in borders or containers for bright blooms from November to May. Height: 20cm (8"). Spread 25cm (10").

Culinary note - Some parts of these flowers are edible. Try the sweet tasting petals on top of salads or even pancakes, crystallise them for use as cake decorations too. For more details about edible flowers click here.

Garden Ready Plants - Our garden ready plants are selected for garden performance, straight from the nursery. We send them to you 'green' ahead of flowering (but please note some varieties may show a few blooms), which means plants will establish quickly and all their energy goes into producing better roots, so they produce more flowers throughout the season.

How to Grow
Gradually acclimatise garden ready pansy plants to outdoor conditions before planting them in any well drained soil, in sun or semi shade.
More Info
Feed and water frequently, but take care not to overwater in winter as this can cause root damage should the compost freeze. Deadhead faded pansy flowers before they set seed to prolong the flowering period.
