Description

These prolific, low-growing plants are perfect for creating soft cushions of colour as a ground cover at the front of borders or tucked between stones in a rockery or creeping over stones. Alpine Phlox come in an array of beautiful vibrant colours and sometimes it’s hard to choose. In which case, opt for our special lucky dip and we will hand select a beautiful variety for you! The colour will be a surprise, but one thing’s for certain - they’ll look fabulous in the garden when they burst into bloom from late spring into summer. These tough and resilient plants are effortlessly rewarding, providing bold blocks of colour with the minimum of fuss. Height: 15cm (6"). Spread: 50cm (20").

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

How to Grow
Grow phlox plants in any fertile, moist, well drained soil in full sun or semi-shade. Incorporate plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost into the soil prior to planting.
More Info
Feed and water regularly, particularly during dry periods, until young phlox plants are fully established. After flowering, lightly shear the stems to encourage lots of fresh new growth.

Thompson & Morgan strives to ensure that all its plants are delivered to you in the perfect condition for planting. While the majority of our nursery plants cope well with slight delays in intransit, sadly, the time it takes to deliver to certain locations in the UK means that we can't guarantee this for some of our smaller plug products and tender bedding and vegetable lines, which do not respond well to the extra journey time. So regretfully while we offer the majority of our live plant offering nationwide, we are unable to ship plugs, begging plants and tender vegetable plants to the following areas: HS, IV41-IV49, IV51, IV55-56, KW15-KW17, PA34, PA41-48, PA60-PA78, PA80, PH40-PH44, TR21-TR24, ZE1-ZE3
