Description

Enjoy the freshness of spring! These dainty bulbs have been specially prepared to flower early. Muscari ‘Early Bird’ features upright spikes of China-blue flowers that rise above grass-like foliage. Showcase their simple beauty, these long-lasting blooms will often deliver a display for a full month if kept in cool, bright conditions. It makes a charming gift as an alternative to cut flowers.

1 x 14cm Potted Plant (KF8090)

How to Grow
Keep in a bright, sunny position indoors and water at intervals allowing the first inch of soil to dry out between waterings. If desired, the bulbs can be transferred to outdoors after flowering. Grape hyacinth plants prefer a sunny or semi-shaded position in moist, well drained, fertile soil that is rich in organic matter. Add plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost to the soil prior to planting to improve less than ideal soils. Plant bulbs at a depth of 10cm (4") and a distance of 5cm (2") apart.
More Info
Allow the foliage of Muscari plants to die back naturally as this will help to feed the bulbs for the following year. Overcrowded clumps can be lifted and divided in summer while the bulbs are dormant.
