Description
Traditionally grown for its essential oils, this pungent Water Mint has a powerful fragrance when crushed. Mentha aquatica is a vigorous, spreading perennial that will cover the edges of ponds and streams with ease. The rounded, lilac pink flowers make an attractive display and attract pollinating insects throughout the summer. This British native hardy perennial makes a useful addition to boggy wildlife areas and ponds. Height: 60cm (24"). Spread: 100cm (39"). Planting depth: Zones 1, 2 & 3 to 20cm (8") below water level.

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
