was £9.29Just£7.99
The Kew Pollinators range of seeds from Thompson and Morgan has been specially created alongside the experts at Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew to attract and support a wide range of pollinators, including bees, butterflies and beetles, as well as a number of other important pollinating insects. Helping these pollinators to thrive is hugely important for our eco-system as a whole and these seeds, in their striking packaging inspired by artwork from the Kew archives, will help to create the environment which they need to thrive, with varieties chosen to help a wide range of pollinating insects, including some night flowering plants to help moths which also play an important part in our gardens.
Malva moschata 'Snow White' is a dwarf variety producing masses of gleaming white flowers with delicate pale pink stamens in late summer. This pretty perennial is simple and understated but makes a surprisingly eye-catching display. The flowers are loved by pollinating insects making this a great choice for a sunny spot in the perennial border or a wildlife area. Height: 40cm (16"). Spread: 45cm (18").Useful Links:

Sow Malva indoors from February to June, or September to October in a good seed compost. Sow seed on the surface of the compost, gently firm down and cover with a fine layer of compost or vermiculite. Place inside a propagator at a temperature of at 15-20C (59-68F) or seal inside a plastic bag until after germination. Keep the soil damp but not wet. After sowing, do not exclude light as this helps germination. Germination usually takes 7-21 days. When seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant and grow them on in cooler conditions until large enough to plant outdoors.
When Malva plants are well grown and all risk of frost has passed, acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days before planting in their final positions.
Caution: harmful if eaten
