Perfect for brewing aromatic teas or enhancing desserts, this versatile herb is also cherished for its medicinal properties.

Lemon Verbena, a deciduous sub-shrub, features lance-shaped leaves and small spikes of white or pale lilac flowers. This half-hardy shrub requires a sunny, sheltered position with some winter protection or it can be grown in a container and moved to a frost-free place over winter. Height and Spread: 2.5m (8’2”).

How to Grow

Grow in full sun in a warm position with well-drained soil. In mild areas, Lemon Verbena can be covered in a thick mulch in the autumn and overwintered outdoors. Alternatively, grow it in a container and move it into a frost-free position over winter.
