Gardenias have an incredibly long flowering season, and ‘Sweetheart’ will reward you with a succession of waxy white flowers from summer to autumn. The blooms sparkle against the perfect backdrop – a forest of dark green, lustrous foliage that forms a pleasing mound.  In mild areas, this hardy variety can be grown in a sheltered position outdoors all year. It is perfect for patio pots, or planting in sheltered, lime-free borders close to a seating area, where its perfume and beauty can be fully appreciated. Otherwise, enjoy it on a windowsill in indirect light and allow its heavenly perfume to drift through the house then move it outdoors for the warmer months. Height: 90cm (35in).
